Visit to injured UNMIK member at MMA




The injured member of UNMIK, Mikhail Krasnoschenko was visited today at the Military Medical Academy by the President of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Maja Gojković and the Minister of Defense, Aleksandar Vulin.

They made sure that the Russian diplomat was recovering well after suffering serious injuries in last week’s action in northern Kosovo and Metohija. The intervention on the MMA included remedy of the broken cheekbone and prevention of additional complications spreading to the part of the bone and brain structures as well as on an eye.

Among those who visited Krasnoschenko today were also the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Chepurin, Head of the Military Health Directorate, Brigadier General Uglješa Jovičić, medical doctor and Head of Military Medical Academy, Colonel prof. Dr. Miroslav Vukosavljević.
