Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin congratulated the Day of Gora Municipality to all Gorani
“I congratulate St. George Day, the Day of Gora municipality to all Gorani people wherever they live.
May you be prosperous in every field, peaceful and safe and survive in your native hills. Without Gorani people, Gora is but another mountain, but with you it is a votive home of brave and honourable people, and guardian of tradition and centuries of continuous lasting.
Without the Gorani people, Serbia would be the poorer for the people of the courageous and loyal, the people which has never forgotten or at any cost abandoned Serbia. I wish that you preserve the richness of your customs and memory to the pride of your children, and to return to your Gora over and over again”.
