Major Pešić winner of Alpine race on Zlatibor
At the traditional night race in the Alpine skiing, organized for the sixth time in Zlatibor, organized by the Ski Club Čigota. The absolute winner among the 80 competitors from the regional countries was captain from the military ski team Major Denijel Pešić.
The military team did not go to international competitions this year. However, a regional race is taking place next winter on Kopaonik, where participants from five countries of the region are expected to participate, followed by races in Italy and Austria organized by the International Council for Military Sports – CISM.Nevena Ignjatović, the best skier of Serbia, will be joining the national team, thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Defense to have the best and most promising athletes in Serbia join the military team.
