Session of the Serbia-Egypt Mixed Military Committee held
The 12th session of the Serbia-Egypt Mixed Military Committee on Defence Cooperation was held in Belgrade.
The delegation of the Ministry of Defence was led by Mr Nenad Miloradović, PhD, Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources and co-president of the Serbian part of the Mixed Military Committee, while the Egyptian delegation was headed by Brigadier General Ahmed Mohamed Elwan from the Operations Authority of the Ministry of Defence.
The Opening Ceremony was also attended by Mr Amr Aljowaily, Ambassador of AR Egypt to Belgrade, and Ms Rasha Soliman, Counsellor to the Ambassador.
At the committee session, the execution of joint activities in 2018 was analysed and the 2019 Programme of Bilateral Military Cooperation activities was agreed and signed.
As the two sides assessed that the cooperation so far was very successful, they agreed in their intention to continue and intensify military-economic, military-to-military and military-medical cooperation.
The next session of the Mixed Military Committee will be held in Egypt at the end of 2019.
