Meeting of Ministers of Defence of Serbia and Vietnam




 
Today, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin met the Minister of National Defence of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam General Ngô Xuân Lịch on the sidelines of the 8th International Xianshang Forum in Beijing in the PR China.
 
Minister Vulin thanked his Vietnamese colleague for the principled support of Vietnam to Serbia regarding the issue of Kosovo and Metohija.
 
The ministers agreed that Serbia and Vietnam had a good military technical cooperation up till that moment, and the meeting was the opportunity to talk about the advancement of cooperation of the two ministries in other areas.
 
Vietnamese minister expressed his intention to conclude the agreement of cooperation in the field of defence.
 
Also, Minister Lịch Ngô extended an invitation for the Minister Vulin to pay official visit to Vietnam.
