Meeting of the ministers of defence of Serbia and Kazakhstan
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin met today the Minister of Defence of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurlan Ermekbaev, on the sidelines of a two-day visit to that friendly country from a delegation of Serbia led by President of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vučić.
Minister Vulin pointed up the great cooperation between the two states in different areas primarily owing to excellent personal relations of the two presidents of Serbia and Kazakhstan.
Ministers Vulin and Ermekbaev expressed their satisfaction with the first official meeting during which they talked about the state and perspectives of development of military-to-military, and military-technical collaboration.
Also, Minister Ermekbaev showed interest in the experiences of our peacekeepers in multinational operation in Lebanon, since Kazakhstan was to deploy a unit there in the near future.
The Serbian minister of defence proposed that Serbian training instructors should be sent to Kazakhstan, and that NCOs of he Armed Forces of Kazakhstan should be trained in our country.
Minister Vulin extended an invitation to his Kazakhstani colleague to visit Serbia, and Minister Ermekbaev underscored and welcomed the participation of the members of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan in the upcoming REGEX exercise and an exercise on cyber security to be held in the capital.
