Delegation of the Ministry of Defence at the Azerbaijan Defence Exhibition
Delegation of the Ministry of Defence, led by Nenad Miloradović, Acting Assistant Minister of Defence for Material Resources attended the 3rd edition of ADEX 2018 Defence Exhibition in Baku, the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The companies of the Serbian Defence Industry, which have participated since its first edition, have recorded this year again a successful joint performance within the booth of PU Yugoimport SDPR.
After the opening ceremony of the event, Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, accompanied by Defence Minister Zakir Hasanov, Deputy Defence Minister Yahya Musayev and a great number of media, visited several booths, including the Serbian one, where he spoke with Nenad Miloradović, Acting Assistant Minister. On this occasion, he expressed great satisfaction with the cooperation in the field of transfer of technologies performed by Serbian defence companies in the previous period.

Miloradović briefed President Aliyev about the projects for the development of sophisticated arms and military equipment for the needs of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia, which could be the next phase in cooperation between our ministries and the two defence industries.
On this occasion, a meeting was held with the Azerbaijani Assistant Minister for Defence Industry where the results of the previous cooperation were summarized, and it was concluded that there is a need and intention of both parties to continue improving the existing successful relations, primarily by establishing joint projects at the level of the two ministries. Conclusion of the protocol on intentions for cooperation is expected in the next few days.
