Course for Duties of Financial Services Authority
Today, at the Military Academy, the 6th edition of the Course for Duties of Financial Services Authority in a Battalion-Brigade has been opened, hosted by the Military Academy – Department of Finance and with the support of the Budget and Finance Sector.
On behalf of the Budget and Finance Sector, Colonel Nedžad Imamović, PhD, addressed the audience, pointing out that the course is aimed primarily at revising and acquiring new knowledge for the financial service officers in the field of material financial operations in the Serbian Armed Forces. He also stressed that the Budget and Finance Sector, as the professional holder of the financial function in the Ministry of Defence, recognised the importance of continuous professional development for the personnel of the financial service and, as of the next year, apart from the Course for Duties of Financial Services Authority in a Battalion-Brigade and the Public Finance Course, the Cash Management Course will also be organized.
The course programme, which is to be held until 7th September, includes topics from the field of material and financial operations in the Armed Forces, financial and material bookkeeping in the Armed Forces, planning of financing, execution of the budget, salaries, fringe benefits and other allowances in the Armed Forces.
