Minister Vulin: Military healthcare is a privilege of members of the military

On the occasion of the Medical Service Day, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin said that over the past year, more than three million examinations of the military and civilian insured were carried out in military healthcare institutions, out of which almost half were specialist examinations. Over a million examinations were provided to civil insurers.

- Owing to the understanding of the President of the Republic of Serbia and Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces Aleksandar Vućić, investments in military healthcare have been increased, and staffing potential has been strengthened. There have never been more medicines in military pharmacies, so the refund today is 10% which has been the best result for many years back. This year, we have invested about RSD 120 million in healthcare infrastructure and equipment procurement, and by the end of the year, we plan to invest another RSD 100 million. The military healthcare system has employed 36 persons, 15 doctors, and 35 doctors have been granted residencies, said the Defence Minister.

Military healthcare is rightly trusted, and investments are restoring a well-organized and safe system that has been destroyed in a planned manner for decades. Anyone who joins the SAF has joined the system that cares about them and their family. Military healthcare is a privilege of members of the military.
