Congratulatory message from the Minister of Defence on the Medical Service Day
I extend my sincere congratulations to all members of the medical service as they celebrate 30th July - the Day of the Service.
Continuing almost two-centuries-long tradition, when the first staff doctor was appointed in 1839 by the decree which is the first official document about the work of the military medical service, you are holding good with your very successful results in the prevention and treatment of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and citizens of Serbia, by which you have gained an exceptional reputation in our country.
As members of multinational operations under the auspices of the United Nations and the European Union, you contribute to strengthening of the reputation of our country in the world with your work and endeavours.
I congratulate you on your holiday, Confident that in the period to come you will continue to achieve excellent results in the field of medicine, further consolidate the status of your highly ethical calling and thus contribute to the development of logistic services of the Serbian Armed Forces, in which I wish you a lot of success.
