Telegram of condolence to the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic




 
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of National Defence of the Hellenic Republic, Panos Kammenos, at the tragic events in which massive fire in the vicinity of Athens claimed many victims.
 
The telegram reads:
 
"The catastrophic fires that hit Athens and caused loss of life reminded us of the unpredictability and power of nature, as well as the readiness of fire-fighters and rescuers to oppose it and reduce the casualties and damage.
 
On behalf of the members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces and me myself, please accept our sincere condolences at the victims perished in the fires.
 
Please extend our sympathy to the families of the perished and wishes for a quick recovery to the injured. The Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia is ready, within its possibilities, to help in the elimination of the consequences of the fire.”
