Minister Vulin: They want Serbs to fight against Serbs
“Since even with the huge pressure of the great powers they did not manage to break President Vučić and make him accept the establishment of the Armed Forces of Kosovo, and since they see that the Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija share the same views with their President, the authorities in Priština have once again used violence to try to force the Serbs to become a part of the armed forces which they do not wish or recognise” – Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin stated commenting on the new arrests of the Serbs in Gnjilane.
“This is an undisguised threat by which they wish to show what they are ready to do in the north of Kosovo and Metohija as well, and it is a clear indicator of the purpose of the Armed Forces of Kosovo if they ever establish them. That is why they need the Serbs in the armed forces; to use them against the Serbs and, as many times throughout the history, to have the Serbs arresting and killing other Serbs. If the international community wants the talks, it will have to restrain Priština and force them to implement the agreements, starting from the establishment of ASM to the court for war crimes of KLA. All the arrested Serbs have to be freed and they have to be enabled to be out on pretrial release without violence and threats” Minister Vulin stated.
