Congratulatory Message of the Minister of Defence on the Occasion of the Day of Directorate for Standardisation, Codification and Metrology
I congratulate 5th July – Day of Directorate for Standardisation, Codification and Metrology to all the members of the Directorate.
On this day, back in 1863, pursuant to a Law of Miloš Obrenović, Artillery Command passed the first standard in the Principality of Serbia titled “Administration of all technical records made by technical bodies”. Continuing more than a century and a half long tradition, which is something that only a few countries and armed forces in the region and beyond can boast of, you successfully carry out the work of standardisation, codification and metrology.
