New Double Issue of “ODBRANA”
Last week, the training ground “Borovac” was a perfect area for the units’ exercise aimed at increasing interoperability and mutual understanding among the members of partner armed forces in the field of tactics, techniques and procedures during the execution of tasks in the peace support operations in a multinational environment. At the exercise “Platinum wolf 2018”, the partners practically demonstrated how we can jointly counter terrorism.
Fire flashes from weapons, smoke and dust – these are the words that describe the final artillery live shooting exercise carried out early in June by the members of the First cannon and howitzer artillery battalion of the Mixed Artillery Brigade at the training ground “Pasuljanske livade” as part of camping on the move “Fiery jump 2018”. Each year a new jump is executed, more precisely a triple jump since there are three locations that are changed, and you can read in the latest issue of our magazine why this one is special.
“Odbrana” brings you the results of research on reintroducing obligatory conscription in Serbia, conducted by the Research Centre for Defence and Security and presented at a press conference that was attended by State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Aleksandar Živković.
