Security is the most important theme
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin has presented today certificates of successful completion of advanced studies to students of the 7th class of Advanced Security and Defence Studies, the highest level of education in the military education system.
Congratulating the participants, Minister Vulin pointed out that these studies are something that our Armed Forces and Military Academy are rightly proud of.
- I am particularly proud of the international character of our school. We learn from each other and in the end we realise that the challenges we аре facing are almost the same – hatred, evil of terrorism, attempt of redrawing borders, changing the social order – Minister Vulin emphasised.Minister Vulin also pointed to the importance of lifelong learning, adding that the ASDS gives an opportunity to review positions and opinions of other political and social actors.
- Advanced Security and Defence Studies are a great privilege and all of you who have successfully completed your education today need to know that you have been chosen carefully, that you have been chosen for a reason and that a lot is expected of you – Minister Vulin said.
Addressing the students of the 7th class, Minister Vulin said that the sign of the completed ASDS connects them and testifies that they are people who have learned a lot and who are ready to continue to learn, and he expressed special gratitude also to the foreign students.- We have presented our knowledge to you, but also our people, the best among the best. I wish you to know that in the future you can count on them as friends, just as we believe that we can count on you – Minister Vulin said.
Speaking about the prospects of the ASDS, the minister of defence pointed out that this level of improvement will develop, grow and protect us and enable all participants who were not part of the security sector, to understand what is the security system and that in the modern world there is no single field of political and social life in which this theme is not important, and as the world, unfortunately, is becoming an increasingly dangerous place to live, a theme that has become essential and crucial.
