Congratulatory message by the Minister of Defence on the Air Control and Reporting Service Day
I extend my sincere congratulations to all members of the Air Control and Reporting Service as they celebrate 18th June – the Day of the Service.
Continuing more than a century long tradition, when the Serbian Supreme Command issued an order to set up permanent observation signaling stations, in order to indicate the direction of the flight of enemy aircraft, thanks to the good qualification level, the members of your service are making a full contribution to functioning of the air control and reporting system thus raising the level of operational capabilities of the Air Force and Air Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces as a whole.
You have achieved notable results in increasing the efficiency of command in the air defence system, modifications, repair and maintenance of radar-computer systems, training, education and professional development of personnel and work in the air defence duty system.
Confident that in the period to come you will continue to successfully execute the set tasks and make efforts to reinforce control of our airspace, I congratulate you on your holiday.
