Cyber Tesla 2018 multinational exercise commences
In the Vojvoda Radomir Putnik barracks in Gornji Milanovac, yesterday, a five-day command post exercise of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard Cyber Tesla 2018 commenced, the theme of which is cyber defence of the telecommunications and IT systems.
The aim of this year's Cyber Tesla is raising capability of the Serbian Armed Forces to respond to cyber attacks and improving the cooperation of government authorities and international institutions in the protection of national cyber space.
Colonel Željko Đukić from the Telecommunications and IT Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces is Chief of the Exercise, and besides the members of the Serbian Armed Forces and the Ohio National Guard, representatives of the private and public sector in our country who are performing jobs in the field of IT security also participate in the exercise.The leadership of the exercise that is being conducted within the framework of the State Partnership Program of Serbia and Ohio in the field of cyber defence, point out that Cyber Tesla is significant because its performance allows improvement of capacities for responding to incidents in cyberspace, exchange of experiences in the field of IT security, and enhancement of bilateral military cooperation.
