Concert of the Opera Diva Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović and the Ensemble „Binički“




 
Primadonna of Opera in the National Theatre in Belgrade, Jasmina Trumbetaš Petrović appeared last night with the Artistic Ensemble of the Ministry of Defence “Stanislav Binički” in front of brimming Great Hall of the Legacy of Ilija M. Kolarac in Belgrade.
 
At the concert “La Divina” the performed pieces included the works of Puccini, Mascagni, Bizet whose roles the primadonna has sung up till now in here twenty years long carrier. The repertoire also included the pearls of the opera literature for soprano such as Aida, Tosca, Adriana Lecouvreur, a Masked Ball, Troubadour, the Force of Destiny and Othello.
 
“La Divina” was at the same time the first solo concert not only of the opera diva, but of the young conductor Milica Radivojević, and of soprano Marija Jelić as well. The greatness of the concert was augmented by the performance of the world renowned artist Sanja Anastasia, mezzo soprano.
 
The idea of the concert, supported by the Ensemble “Binički” was to draw attention to the importance of support and promotion of young talents.
