Enhancing cooperation with Slovenia
Head of the Department for International Military Cooperation, Colonel Milan Ranković and Defence Attaché of the Republic of Slovenia in Belgrade, Colonel Damjan Jurkovič, have signed today the 2018 Programme for Bilateral Military Cooperation between the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Slovenia.
It was jointly noted that cooperation in the field of defence was well developed, following the quality of the overall relations and bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The interlocutors exchanged views on the prospects and modalities for enhancing cooperation in the forthcoming period.
Colonel Ranković pointed out that the 2018 Programme for Bilateral Military Cooperation allows for further continuation and development of cooperation in the main areas and areas of mutual interest, especially in the military-to-military cooperation, military educational cooperation, military-economic cooperation and cooperation of military archives.
Colonel Jurkovič pointed to the readiness of the Slovenian side for further development and strengthening the relations of the two ministries, and that the planned high-level meetings and meetings at the expert level enable the expansion and further upgrading of the defence cooperation.
