Continuation of Discussion on Amendments to Draft Law on Military Education
The fourth session of the First regular sitting of the Serbian Assembly was continued today with a discussion on a set of laws in the field of military education.
Today’s session, which is attended by Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin, started with a discussion on amendments of Draft Law on Military Education.
The MPs presented 653 amendments to the Draft Law on Military Education and the Government has proposed to the National Assembly to adopt one amendment.
On Friday, the Serbian Assembly concluded general discussion on the set of defence laws and adopted a set of draft laws and decisions.
So far the representatives of the highest legislative body gave their full support to draft decisions on the adoption of Annual Plan for the Use of the Serbian Armed Forces and Other Defence Forces in Multinational Operations for the year 2018 and the participation of the members of the Serbian Armed Forces in multinational operations in 2018.
Also, the support was given to draft laws on ratification of Memorandums of understanding between the Government of Serbia and Government of the State of Israel regarding military, defence and defence industry cooperation, and on ratification of Memorandum of understanding between the Government of Serbia and the Government of Greece concerning cooperation within the Athens Multinational Sealift Coordination Centre.
The National Assembly also adopted draft Law on ratification of Memorandum between the Government of Serbia and Government of the Republic of Srpska on cooperation in the field of Aviation and the one on ratification of Agreement between the Government of Serbian and Government of Romania on cooperation in the field of defence.
