Telegram of Condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation




 
Following a tragic death of the crew of Su-30SM plane, Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation, General of the Army Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu. The telegram reads as follows:
 
“Please accept the heartfelt condolences of the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and me personally for the tragic death of the crew members of the military aircraft Su-30SM as it crashed in the Mediterranean Sea.
 
The self-sacrifice of those who perform that honourable profession, and the readiness to give one’s own life for one’s fatherland at any time, whether it is in the time of war or peace, commits us to everlasting gratitude to the brave pilots.
 
Please convey our sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the perished members of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation”.
