A group of 30 people who declared themselves as members of the Social Center NNK unlawfully broke into the “Dorćol” unaccompanied personnel housing facility located in 63, Cara Uroša Street. It is an obsolete military facility included in the Master Plan of military real estate, which has not been used or adequately maintained for many years.
The military police took measures within their jurisdiction, warned the persons who had entered the abandoned military facility in an unauthorized way and introduced the competent prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade to all the facts.
Bearing in mind the poor condition of the building, with visible damage to the facade and wall constructions, there is a great danger of collapse of certain premises of the building, as well as possible injuries to the persons who are there. For this reason, we are informing you that the Ministry of Defence will not be held liable for any possible consequences for the safety and health of persons who have broken into the abandoned military facility in an unauthorized way.
The competent authorities of the Ministry of Defence will continue to act in accordance with the law.
