Public Finance Course in the Defence System
The sixth edition of the Public Finance in Defence System Course, hosted by the Budget and Finance Sector and the Military Academy Department of Public Finance, commenced today at the Military Academy and will last until 20th April.
The course is attended by officers and civilians from the financial service bodies in the MoD and SAF and is primarily intended for the members of the financial service to refresh their knowledge and acquire new knowledge in the field of public finance in order to successfully perform duties within the competence of the financial function in the defence system.Opening the course, the head of the Budget Department, Colonel Dr. Milan Milunović, emphasized the importance of constant professional development of the financial service personnel at the Ministry of Defence and pointed out that the Budget and Finance Sector undertakes measures to organize professional training for the personnel of the financial service through various forms of education, every year.
The curriculum includes a system of financial service in the public sector, planning of financing in the SAF, tax system, career development of financial service officers, public sector salary system and other topics.
