Major Matić is successfully recovering
Major Aleksandar Matić, who was injured in the aircraft crash and then hospitalized at the Military Medical Academy yesterday, is in a stable condition and recovering successfully, Colonel Prof. Miroslav Vukosavljević, Acting Head of the Military Medical Academy said.
Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubiša Diković have visited the injured pilot at the Military Medical Academy today.
In the accident that occurred yesterday in the municipality of Kovačica, during the regular training flight on the Super Galeb G-4 trainer combat aircraft, pilot Major Robert Kaloci was killed and pilot Major Aleksandar Matić was injured.
