Defence Minister extends congratulatory message on the Military Academy Day
I wish то extend congratulations to cadets, participants in the Reserve Officers Course and professional members of the Serbian Armed Forces attending education, advancement and those who are in service in the Military Academy, as they celebrate 18th March – the Military Academy Day.
On that day in 1850, Prince Aleksandar Karadjordjević approved the Project for the Establishment of the Artillery School, which trained the officers of all arns of the then Serbian Army, the predecessor of the current Military Academy. By joining the higher education system in our country, cooperating with military academies of foreign armed forces and exchanging cadets and officers, today, the Military Academy is a modern scientific institution providing training to our officer cadre and that of other countries.
Despite numerous temptations and obligations, numerous results have been accomplished and notable successes achieved in the field of military education.
I congratulate you on your holiday, wishing you to continue accomplishing all the assigned tasks and obligations in the forthcoming period as well and to continue contributing to successful development of the Serbian Armed Forces with your results in the teaching process and scientific work.
