Telegram of Condolences for the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation
Minister of Defence of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to the Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation General of the Army Sergey Kuzhugetovich Shoygu following the tragic crash of the Russian helicopter in Chechnya. The telegram reads:
“The tragic accident and the loss of human lives in the crash of the helicopter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in Chechnya once again reminded me of all the dangers, hardships and risks with which our soldiers are faced every day.
This is actually where all the nobility of military profession is reflected and the self-sacrificing of all those who carry out this honourable profession, whether it is in the times of peace of war. It is because of that, and their readiness to give their own lives for their fatherland at any moment that we owe them eternal gratitude.
On behalf of all the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and me personally I wish to extend to you and the families of the perished my sincere condolences, hoping that the injured will soon recover and hoping that all of them will be forever remembered.”
