Briefing for Foreign Military Representatives
Today, in the Guard Club “Topčider” a briefing was held for foreign military representatives accredited to the Republic of Serbia on defence budget of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces in 2018. The briefing was organised by Sector for Budget and Finance and Department for International Military Cooperation of the Ministry of Defence.
The present were welcomed by State Secretary in the Ministry of Defence Bojan Jocić who expressed the readiness of the Government of the Republic of Serbian and the Ministry of Defence in the upcoming period to continue improving the living standard of the employees in the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and equipping the Serbian Armed Forces.
The present were also addressed by Head of Budget Department of the Sector for Budget and Finance Colonel Milan Milunović PhD who presented basic characteristics of the defence budget for the year 2018 with a look back on the starting basis and guidelines for the preparation and development of the budget. He also presented a programme structure of the Ministry of Defence and answered the questions asked by the foreign military representatives.
