Communique
This evening at around 19.30 a smaller fire broke out on the fourth floor of the Military Medical Academy in the part of the MMA Polyclinic, more precisely the ward for functional diagnostics of rheumatology and haematology where there are no hospitalised patients.
Owing to reaction of the employees of the MMA, no one was injured in the fire, and swift reaction of seven fire fighting teams of the Ministry of Interior, the fire was extinguished at 20.30.
Because of dense smoke, the patients and staff were evacuated from higher to lower floors.
Responsible prosecutor was informed about the event, and the inspection will be conducted by a specialised team of the Ministry of Interior.
