Enhancement of Cooperation with the Olympic Committee of Serbia
Head of Private Office of the Minister of Defence, who is at the same time the Head of Delegation of the Republic of Serbia to the International Military Sports Council (CISM), Brigadier General Siniša Radović met today the President of the Olympic Committee of Serbia Božidar Maljković on the premises of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
The subject of the meeting was the continuation and enhancement of cooperation between the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces and the Olympic Committee of Serbia and joint activities in the field of sports, and possible areas and forms of further cooperation.An initiative was launched regarding joint activities for the implementation of the programme of the Olympic Committee of Serbia “A career after sports” in the framework of which top athletes would be engaged in the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces. Furthermore, an initiative was considered regarding selection and proclaiming the best athlete and the best sports team of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces in Olympic sports, under the auspices of the Olympic Committee of Serbia.
During today’s meeting, a need was expressed for further enhancement and deepening of traditionally good many years long cooperation, and for continuation of support of the Olympic Committee of Serbia to development of sports in the Serbian Armed Forces.
