New Issue of ODBRANA
The Law on Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2018 envisages the allocation of resources for the Ministry of Defence in the amount of 70.5 billion dinars, which is by 11.6 billion more in comparison to the last year. The amount of 70.5 billion dinars represents the sum of resources from the “state treasury” in the amount of 67.4 billion dinars and the revenues of the Ministry of Defence which is 3.1 billion dinars. State Secretary Bojan Jocić says for “Defence” that the budget is better balanced than in the previous year because 52.2 will go for personnel costs, 26.5 for operational costs and investments will receive 21.3 per cent of the budget. “We are aspiring towards the ideal ration of 50-30-20” Jocić points out confident that the state and the Ministry of Defence are on the right path to achieve this goal.
