New Issue of “ODBRANA” Published
As the end of the year draws near, the state and the ministries are summing up the achieved results on the basis of which they are projecting the plans for the future. Reporting to the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić, Minister of Defence Aleksandar Vulin and the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubiša Diković raised some of the most crucial issues for the members of the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed forces which had been waiting for years to be resolved. Better financial position, higher quality of equipment of the units and mass housing construction for the members of defence system will be some of the focal tasks of the state in the forthcoming period. The employees of the armed forces, Police and Security-Information Agency will receive a bonus amounting to 10000 dinars by the end of the year, and in the years to come many “guardians of the state” could finally and permanently resolve their housing issue. These measures, along with the announced 10 per cent increase of salaries confirm that Serbia takes care of its security forces.
The topic of the new issue of the magazine deals with national security of Serbia and threats it faces.
