Telegram of condolence to the Egyptian Minister of Defence




On the occasion of the terrorist attack in Al Rawdah mosque in Bir El-Abd, Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to Egypt's Minister of Defence, General Sedki Sobhy Sayyid Ahmad. The telegram says:
 
“I was deeply shaken by the news of the terrorist attack in Al Rawdah mosque in Bir El-Abd, near the Arish City in the Sinai, that killed and injured hundreds of Egyptian citizens.
 
On behalf of the members of the Ministry of Defence and on my personal part, I take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt condolences.
 
Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces stand together with you in sharing your pain on the occasion of this tragic event.
 
I wish to emphasize the importance of joint and uncompromising struggle against terrorism, which constantly threatens and undermines the values of modern civilisation and society.
 
Please extend our heartfelt condolences to the families of the perished ones.”
