Minister Vulin: Task Force for addressing housing issues of security sector members established

After visiting the Training Center in Požarevac, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin, has announced today that the Ministry of Defence will do everything within its competencie to ensure with the entire Government of the Republic of Serbia that the Serbian Armed Forces and each of its members have their material situation resolved.

- That is why, upon the order of the Supreme Commander of the Serbian Armed Forces, Mr Aleksandar Vučić, the Government of the Republic of Serbia has formed a commission for resolving housing issues of all members of the security sector, headed by Prime Minister Ana Brnabić, that includes all line ministers. The Government of the Republic of Serbia will implement the policy of the President of the Republic of Serbia, the supreme commander, on the massive mass housing construction for the needs of all members of the security structures. This is our way to show how much we care about these people and to show that military calling is something that is appreciated in Serbia. Serbia is proud of its army, it relies on its army, and that is why it will do everything to improve the material position of all soldiers and all members of the security structures.

According to Minister Vulin, the Serbian Armed Forces has never turned its back on its country.

- That is why this country and this people show that they can do it and show that they will never turn their backs on their army. We are a militarily neutral country, but in order to be a militarily neutral country, we have to be a militarily strong country, because only such a country is respected and only such a militarily strong country can count on its ability to make its decisions on its own - Minister Vulin said.
