Congratulatory Message of the Minister of Defence on the Occasion of the Engineer Service Day
I congratulate 6th November – Day of the engineer service to all its members.
On this day 1865, the Principality of Serbia passed a Law on the Amendment of the Law of the organisation of the armed forces from 1864 that established the engineer service. Following more than a century and half long tradition of the builders of the engineer service, owing to the professionalism and responsibility, you have managed to functionally fulfil all your obligations, and the execution of your assigned tasks contributed to building and enhancing the operational capabilities.
Wishing your previous successes to be a motive for all future successes, and confident that in the period to come, you will contribute to development of the engineer service and the Army as a whole, I congratulate this holiday to you.
