Congratulatory Message of the Minister of Defence on the Occasion of the Day of Military Technical Institute
I congratulate 3rd November – Day of the Military Technical Institute to all its members.
On that day, back in 1948, the establishment of the Military Technical Institute was initiated. Last year, continuing almost seven decade long tradition, you managed to preserve laboratory capacities, maintain a significant number of researchers and keep a respectable level enjoyed by this scientific institution of ours. By carrying out responsible tasks in the field of research and development of arms and military equipment and by adopting new, modern technologies, the members of your Institute contributed to a large degree to the modernisation of the Serbian Armed Forces.
I congratulate this holiday to you, confident that in the period to come, you will achieve notable results in the field of research and development of arms and military equipment and be a driving force in the system of defence industry of the Republic of Serbia.
