Meeting between Chief of General Staff and KFOR Commander
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces General Ljubiša Diković has met today in Banjica 2 barracks in Belgrade with KFOR Commander Major General Giovanni Fungo.
Generals Diković and Fungo discussed the current security situation in Kosovo and Metohija and along the administrative line with our southern province, as well as the realization of joint activities of the Serbian Armed Forces and KFOR.
It is a high-level meeting of the Joint Commission for the Implementation of the Military Technical Agreement, composed of commission of KFOR Command and the commission of representatives of the security forces of the Republic of Serbia.. Meetings of the Joint Commission have been regularly held at different levels since 1999, for the purpose of the implementation of the Military Technical Agreement.
The Chief of General Staff thanked General Fungo for the cooperation they had so far and wished him success in his further military career, since General Fungo is soon to hand over the post of KFOR Commander.
