Successful evaluation of units for multinational operations
Units of the Serbian Armed Forces declared for participation in multinational operations - light infantry company from the 3rd Army Brigade, a military police platoon from the 3rd Military Police Battalion from Niš and a CBRN platoon from the 246th CBRN battalion from Kruševac have completed the second part of the tactical exercise "Rock 02" at the South Base and at the "Borovac" training ground.

In the framework of the tactical exercise, the units successfully passed the NATO level 2 evaluation according to the standards and procedures for the evaluation of the combat readiness of land units and the Operational Capabilities Concept.
The combat readiness and capabilities of the declared units were evaluated by a multinational evaluation team composed of 27 evaluators of the Serbian Armed Forces, partner countries of Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Montenegro, and the accuracy and objectivity of the assessment was monitored by a monitoring team from the Allied Joint Force Command Naples and Allied Land Command Izmir.

The head of the multinational evaluation team was Colonel Mario Arbutina from the General Staff Operations Department, who praised the entire organization of the exercise and pointed out that the units on the evaluation showed professional attitude towards tasks, motivation and competence to perform complex tasks characteristic of multinational operations, such as providing convoys with humanitarian assistance, crowd control, helicopter landings, patrolling, establishment of checkpoints, decontamination of the peoples and equipment, evacuation of injured and more.
Arms and equipment that the declared units used at the exercise were those that would be used during engagement in multinational operations.
In the previous week, within the first part of the "Rock 02" tactical exercise, the level 1 evaluation of the general engineering unit from the 310th Engineering Battalion from Prokuplje was successfully evaluated according to the standards and procedures of the Operational Capabilities Concept.
