Great success of military athletes on the 25th Novi Sad Marathon

Members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces participated in the 25th Novi Sad Marathon, in competition with more than 1,000 competitors from 25 countries and from all continents, and they achieved great success.

In the 25 kilometers race for women, professional soldier Nataša Ćulafić from the Serbian Armed Forces Guard won the first place, while civilian Ivana Petrović from the Air Force and Air Defence won 10.5 km race.

In the relay marathon race in mixed competition, the team of the Special Brigade of the Army won the second place while AF&AD came third.

In addition to these excellent results, Lieutenant Colonel Nenad Milosavljević from the Training and Doctrine Department of the General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces took the fourth place in the overall placement in the marathon race, which was at the same time the championship of Serbia.

Also, civilian Ksenija Bubnjević from the Military Academy took the second place in the marathon race in the women's competition and won the title of the vice-champion in the Serbian championship.
