Enhancement of Cooperation with Foreign Military Representatives Accredited to Serbia
In the framework of planned activities, Head of Department for International Military Cooperation, Navy Captain Milan Konjikovac, with his associates conducted regular quarterly information of the military diplomatic corps in Belgrade and Belgrade Association of Defence Attachés.
Navy Captain Konjikovac pointed out the significance of the continuity of the meetings for an objective overview of key activities of the Ministry of Defence. He commended the cooperative approach to the preparation and carrying out of the activities, which additionally enhances not only the cooperation but it contributes to raising the level of mutual understanding, which is important for the improvement of cooperation and the overall relations.
Analysing the cooperation in the previous period, the interlocutors expressed their satisfaction with the quality and quantity of the conducted planned and extraordinary activities. They also agreed upon the dynamics of priority activities until the end of the year in line with the Programme for the cooperation with foreign military representatives.
The orientation towards raising the cooperation to a higher level was mutually expressed and that would be further under discussion during the harmonisation of activities for the year 2018.
The meeting was attended by the Doyen of the military diplomatic corps in Belgrade and the President of the Belgrade Association of Defence Attachés, Colonel Thomas Ahammer, Vice Doyen of the military diplomatic corps Colonel Leontin Ilie and Vice President of the Belgrade Association of Defence Attachés, Colonel Adão Eduardo da Silva.
