Free education at Belgrade Business School
Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin attended the ceremonial signing of a contract between the Ministry of Defence and the Belgrade Business School, which allows members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces, as well as members of their families, free education at that higher education vocational school. The contract was signed by Colonel Slađan Ristić, Head of the Department for Tradition, Standards and Veterans of the Human Resources Department of the Ministry of Defence and Professor Đuro Đurović.
- The signed agreement allows children of all our members who wish to enrol in the Belgrade Business School, and who pass the appropriate tests, to enrol for free in that respected higher education vocational school and complete their education without any material burdens for their parents. This is a way to show how we care about each of our members, about the quality of life of members of the Armed Forces, but also to show how everyone else in Serbia is concerned and likes the Armed Forces and its members. This is our way to show members of the Serbian Armed Forces that wearing their uniforms and becoming members of the armed forces is not a wrong decision, that people in Serbia appreciate and respect them, love them, and are ready to be there when the Armed Forces needs it.
- Members of the families of our members now know that they can fully educate their children for free, the minister of defence said and emphasized that this will continue to be done not only in Belgrade, but also in all cities and towns, wherever there is an opportunity to improve the material position of MoD and SAF members.
- In a word, you are the guardians of the peace of our citizens. This is another way how we show our love and respect for the most beautiful thing that Serbia has, and that is its armed forces. By signing a contract on the free education of children of the Armed Forces members and donating money for the purchase of sunglasses for the pilots of the Serbian Armed Forces, we wanted to keep the record in our history of our respect and the love we feel for our armed forces, said Dr. Djurovic among others.
