Minister Vulin sends telegram of condolences to US Secretary of Defense



On the occasion of an unfortunate incident in which members of the United States armed forces were killed, Defence Minister Aleksandar Vulin sent a telegram of condolences to James Mattis, the United States Secretary of Defense.

The telegram says:
"Dear Mr Mattis,

On behalf of members of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Serbia and on my personal part, I take this opportunity to extend our sincere condolences on the occasion of the loss of lives of the crew aboard the USS John McCain from the US Navy's 7th Fleet.

All members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces sincerely stand together with you in sharing your pain on the occasion of the loss of lives of the US Navy members.

Please extend the heartfelt condolences of members of the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces to the families of the perished sailors as well as to the command of their unit.
