Minor Injury at Work in a Laboratory of the Military Technical Institute



For the purpose of full and thorough informing of the public, we are reporting that yesterday morning at 9.35 hours a civilian Toše Spasov was slightly injured when rocket fuel combusted during control testing in a laboratory in the Military Technical Institute “Tehnikum” in Barič. On that occasion a minor material damage was caused.

Toše Spasov was examined in a Health Care Centre in Obrenovac and subsequently admitted to the Military Medical Academy where it was established that he had suffered minor body injuries and it is expected that he will be released soon to house treatment.

The Ministry of Defence understands the interest of the public, but we once again appeal to the media to check the accuracy and authenticity with competent authorities in the Ministry of Defence before releasing sensationalist and untruthful information regarding time of the occurrence, description and consequences of an event.
