Cadets in a Humanitarian Action



In the framework of a humanitarian action, the cadets of the Military Academy provided financial aid today for the Paediatric Oncology Service of the Institute for Oncology and Radiology of Serbia. The collected money in the amount of 47,000 RSD was received by Director of Paediatric Oncology Service, Doctor Zoran Bekić who thanked the cadets for the donation. 


The action, which started upon an initiative of the Cadets’ Parliament, was supported by all the classes and superiors of the Cadet Brigade.

Until now, the cadets have participated in a humanitarian action “Battle for Babies”, in a rescue mission of the population during the floods in 2014, and they regularly participate in other humanitarian actions. Each year, more than 300 cadets voluntarily donate blood in several blood donation actions.

In 2015, upon decision of the President of the Republic of Serbia, the Cadet Brigade was decorated by a Gold Medal for Exceptional Merit and Achieved Results in Discharging Security Tasks and Protection of the Citizens of Serbia.
