Meeting of the Chiefs of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces and Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubiša Diković met today in Bijeljina with the Chief of Joint Staff of Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lieutenant General Anto Jeleč.
Generals Diković and Jeleč talked about the achieved level of bilateral military cooperation and opportunities for further enhancement of the cooperation between the two Armed Forces.
The cooperation between the Serbian Armed Forces and Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is good and intensive, particularly in the field of military education, training, joint participation in exercises, as well as in the field of CBRN, and this meeting near the border provided an opportunity for its further development, first of all through concretisation of activities in the field of training and the use of training capacities.
General Diković expressed his belief that an active international military cooperation with the armed forces of the countries in our surroundings, which is undertaken by the Ministry of Defence and Serbian Armed Forces in line with the interests of the Republic of Serbia, contributes to good neighbourly relations, creation of an atmosphere of mutual confidence and strengthening of security in the region.
