Đorđević with the Belarusian delegation




 
Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević met with First Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian State Military Industrial Committee, Igor Demidenko, and a delegation from the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus.

Progress in defence cooperation was noted, primarily the military-technical area.
 
Đorđević and Demidenko emphasized the importance of the recent visit of the Serbian defence minister to Belarus, as well as the significance of the high-level meetings.
 
The interlocutors emphasized the importance of joint training and exercises for strengthening the operational capabilities of the armed forces. In this regard, they particularly singled out a trilateral exercise Slavic Brotherhood, which has recently been held in Belarus, attended by members of the armed forces of Serbia, Belarus and the Russian Federation.
 
The meeting discussed further enhancement of cooperation in the field of defence, and above all military-technical cooperation.
