Scientific integration of development projects of the defence system
Defence Minister Zoran Đorđević launched an initiative to unify all scientific research capacities in favour of faster and more quality work on development projects of the Ministry of Defence.
Bearing in mind the fact that the strengthening of the Serbian Defence Industry has contributed to a number of new scientific research projects, Minister Đorđević presented the real need for finding the right modality which would include, in addition to the engineering personnel of the Military Technical Institute, the scientific-teaching staff of the Military Academy, as soon as possible, as well as cadets pursuing relevant study programmes, and students from the technical faculties of other universities.
The idea is that topics and scientific concerns that could contribute to the development of key defence industry projects are available to those who can contribute to their resolution through their professional and scientific work.
It is about the essential scientific integration of not only the Military Technical Institute and the Military Academy, Đorđević pointed out, but also the entire scientific and technical potential of the society that can contribute to the existing and future development projects of the Ministry of Defence and Defence Industry. In this way, students of undergraduate, master and doctoral studies at the University of Defence, as well as of technical faculties at other universities, could choose the original topics for their final papers, which would contribute, at the same time, to solving specific project problems.
