Competition for the Enrolment on the Medical Faculty of the MMA
The competition for the enrolment of the first generation on three year vocational studies for nurses and for the enrolment on doctoral, specialist and integrated academic studies was opened for civilians at the MMA Medical Faculty of the University of Defence in Belgrade.
Apart from the existing doctoral academic and specialist academic studies for the civilian students, the MMA Medical Faculty has introduced a novelty so that interested civilians can apply for the integrated studies without obligation to be further engaged in the military health system.
The programme of studies for nurses was accredited last year and it continues the tradition of the MMA of previous times which means that the education for medical technicians in accordance with European educational framework is introduced in the institution which equally values treatment, education and scientific and research work.
In the academic year 2017/18, five self-financing students who meet the conditions of the public competition will be able to enrol on the studies to obtain the title of a medical doctor, while the basic vocational studies for nurses will be enrolled by ten self-financing students. Specialist academic studies are offered for eight programmes of study: (Traumatology – 20 candidates; Medical Toxicology – 6 candidates; Pharmacokinetics and Bioequivalence of Medicines – 4 candidates; Implants in Oral Medicine – 5 candidates; Oral Health and Periodontal Medicine – 4 candidates; Surgical-Orthodontic Treatment of Deformities of Face and Jaw – 5 candidates; Oral Medicine – 5 candidates; Bioengineering and Medical Informatics – 10 candidates).
