Generals Diković and Bartman Visited the Primary School “Svetozar Marković“ in Kraljevo
Today, the Chief of General Staff of the Serbian Armed Forces, General Ljubiša Diković and Commander of the National Guard of Ohio, Major General Mark Bartman, with the delegation, visited Žiča monastery and Primary School “Svetozar Marković“in Kraljevo where in 2012 a gym had been renovated owing to the funds of the European Command of the US Armed Forces.The renovation of the gym, damaged in the earthquake at the end of 2010 was jointly carried out by the members of the National Guard of Ohio and Serbian Armed Forces in the framework of the project “Humanitarian Assistance”.
The delegation of the National Guard of Ohio, in the framework of their visit to the Republic of Serbia, also visited today the CBRN Training Centre in Kruševac, and yesterday they were in 98th Air Force Brigade in Kraljevo.During the visit to the CBRN Training Centre, the guests from Ohio were familiarised with the training infrastructure and the most significant information regarding the scope of the work of this Centre as a regional and partner centre for education and training. Furthermore, the opportunities for the cooperation in the field of CBRN in the forthcoming period were considered.
