Inspection in Ground Safety Zone
Pursuant to a Decision of the President of the Republic of Serbia and the Order of the Minister of Defence, Defence Inspectorate has initiated an inspection control of part of permanently engaged troops of the Serbian Armed Forces in the Ground Safety Zone.
The Minister of Defence, Zoran Đorđević stated that such a manner of controlling and inspecting part of the units of Serbian Armed Forces was in the spirit of activities initiated this year in March when for the first time after many years an extraordinary, unannounced, field inspection had been conducted checking the operational capabilities of a part of the Rapid Reaction Forces.
The aim of the inspection is to determine the state of operational capabilities of a part of forces in the Ground Safety Zone to respond in the spirit of possible risks and threats and to act in accordance with the rules of engagement in the Ground Safety Zone.
