Commanding General of USAREUR in visit to Serbia
The Serbian Armed Forces Chief of General Staff General Ljubisa Dikovic received today in Belgrade the delegation of the United States Army in Europe led by the Army Commander Lieutenant General Frederick Hodges.
General Dikovic and Hodges talked about bilateral military cooperation between Serbia and the US, especially in the field of training.
During the meeting it was stressed that cooperation of the Serbian and US Armed Forces had very important place in total bilateral relations between two countries and that it has been constantly improved. Collaboration in development of capacities of the South Base and an engineering general support company for participation in UN peacekeeping operations, conduct of joint exercises and joint engagement of medical teams in Angola were highlighted as one of the greatest priorities.
